March 13, 2017 — Richmond, VA – MOCA is proud to announce the promotion of Andy Calkins to Vice President. Calkins has been with MOCA for over seven years in roles of increasing responsibility. He is a significant contributor to the long-term objectives of MOCA as Program Manager for our Federal programs. Calkins will report to Executive Vice President Steve Essig, PE, CCP.
MOCA delivers quality solutions to the design and building industry’s most challenging problems. He and his team support our largest federal clients including the US Army Corps of Engineers Baltimore District Program and our single largest contract – Defense Commissary Agency Technical Support.

Calkins has a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies from Duke University, Durham, NC and a Master of Science in Architecture in Construction Management from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA. He has over 19 years of experience in a wide range of activities including construction management, program management, schedule and cost management as well as project management.
